Web design and development

Provided by

BrightStack Digital

BrightStack Digital designs and builds custom websites for businesses that need their online presence to do real work: explain what they do, earn trust and make the next step obvious.

Design and development happen in the same place. That means the layout, typography and interaction decisions made during design are the ones that actually ship, rather than being reinterpreted by a separate build team.

Capabilities

  • Custom website design
  • Responsive development
  • Frontend development
  • Business and marketing websites
  • Ecommerce development
  • CMS and content structure
  • Third-party integrations
  • Accessibility
  • Website performance
  • Launch and handover

What gets built

Most projects fall somewhere between a focused marketing site and a larger content-driven website with commerce or custom functionality attached.

  • Business and service websites where credibility and clarity matter most
  • Multi-page content websites with a structure that can grow
  • Ecommerce experiences covering product discovery, cart and checkout
  • Landing pages and campaign pages built to a single objective
  • Redesigns and rebuilds of websites that no longer reflect the business

Who it suits

It suits businesses that have outgrown a template, founders launching something new who need the first impression to hold up, and teams whose current website is technically fine but no longer communicates clearly.

It is less of a fit if you need a large ongoing content operation staffed daily, or a one-page site with no design decisions to make.

What is included

Scope is confirmed in writing before build starts, so pages, functionality and integrations are agreed rather than assumed.

  • Site structure, page inventory and content requirements
  • Visual direction and interface design across breakpoints
  • Frontend development with responsive behaviour on desktop, tablet and mobile
  • Content management setup where the site needs editable content
  • Integrations with the services the business already uses
  • Performance, accessibility and cross-browser checks before launch
  • Launch, handover and a walkthrough of how to manage the site

Working with an existing website

An existing website does not have to be discarded. The first step is a review of what is working, what is holding the site back and what is worth keeping.

From there the work can stay narrow — restructuring key pages, fixing performance, replacing a dated visual layer — or become a full rebuild when the foundation is the actual problem.

Custom functionality and integrations

Websites rarely stand alone. Forms need to reach the right inbox, products need payment, bookings need a calendar, and content often lives in another system.

Custom functionality is scoped separately from the core build so the cost and complexity of each addition stays visible rather than buried in a package price.

How the process works

A short discovery conversation establishes goals, audience and constraints. Scope and price are confirmed after that, not before.

  • Discovery — goals, audience, existing assets and constraints
  • Scope — pages, functionality, integrations and timeline in writing
  • Design — structure and visual direction, reviewed together
  • Build — responsive frontend development with review points
  • Launch — testing, deployment and handover

After launch

Launch is a milestone, not the end of the work. Ongoing development covers content updates, small improvements, technical maintenance and new pages or features as the business changes.

Ongoing support is optional and separate from the build. Nothing is bundled in by default.

Can you redesign a website I already have?

Yes. The work can be a targeted improvement of specific pages and performance issues, or a complete rebuild, depending on the condition of what exists and what you are trying to change.

Can custom functionality be added?

Yes. Automation, integrations and bespoke features can be added to a build. They are scoped and priced separately so the complexity of each addition stays clear.

Do you build ecommerce websites?

Yes. That covers product presentation, cart, checkout, payment integration and the content structure around a catalogue.

Do you provide ongoing development after launch?

Yes, as a separate arrangement covering maintenance, content updates, technical support and incremental improvements. Larger new features are scoped as their own piece of work.

How do I start?

Send through a short outline of the project on the contact page. The next step is a discovery conversation, followed by a written scope and price before any work begins.
